Privacy and exclusivity at Villa La Favela
A honeymoon villa needs to be one thing above all: yours. Villa La Favela is a single-property private estate. There is no shared lobby, no other guests in adjoining suites, no daily cleaning that interrupts your morning. The pool, terrace, garden and parking are exclusively yours from check-in to check-out. The closest neighbouring properties are not visible from the pool deck, so sunbathing, swimming and dining on the terrace happen in complete visual privacy. For couples who have stayed in resorts and felt watched, this matters more than any single amenity.
The sunset orientation at Haad Salad
Haad Salad faces west-northwest, which means from May through November the sun sets directly into the Gulf of Thailand from the villa's pool terrace. Champagne at the water's edge as the sky turns amber and the sea below the pool changes colour every fifteen minutes — this is what guests photograph most. From December through April the geometry shifts slightly: the sun drops behind the hill north of the villa, but the golden hour light on the sea remains spectacular and the sky over the water still puts on a show. Either way, you have a private front-row seat from your own infinity pool.

Direct booking includes a complimentary bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Beyond that, we coordinate (at additional cost) in-villa Thai oil massage for couples (typically ฿800–1,200 per person per hour), a private candlelit dinner on the terrace cooked by a local chef (from ฿2,500 for two), longtail sunset boat charters, flower arrangements, and surprise turn-down setups. We don't sell rigid honeymoon "packages" — we ask what you want and arrange it. Message us on WhatsApp after booking and we'll build it around your dates.
Best months for a Phangan honeymoon
Koh Phangan's dry season runs roughly December to March — clear skies, warm seas, sunset every night, and peak villa demand. Shoulder months (April, May, November) offer almost identical weather with lower rates and fewer tourists. Green season (July to October) brings short, dramatic afternoon storms followed by clear evenings — visually stunning, fewer guests on the island, and the lowest direct-booking rates of the year. Many honeymoon couples specifically choose September or October for the combination of value and atmospheric weather. We recommend booking at least three months ahead for December–February, and any time for shoulder or green season.

“We really had an amazing stay. The villa is beautifully decorated, the beds wonderful, the view stunning. Nothing is missing, everything has really been thought of (water tap that purifies the water, washing machine, wine cabinet etc.). Also the communication with Charlotte was super. The accommodation is beautifully situated near at least 3 beaches within a 10 minutes drive. Great for sunrise walks or evening sunsets, plus there's some amazing places to grab a bite to eat nearby.
